We are ACE - Wellbeing for Everyone

Ace are a small group that meets weekly to offer advice and support around improving wellbeing. The group runs on a Friday morning from 10-11.30 at The Langley Centre. It is led by a trained mental health worker from The Assertive Contact & Engagement service (who are part of Bristol Mental Health) and an experienced volunteer with lived experience.

The group covers a range of topics and activities looking at ways to improve wellbeing, such as increasing self-esteem, building positive social networks, the benefit of self-care and doing things you enjoy. They also like to use this time as a social space where people have a chance to meet regularly and get support from others who have concerns about their wellbeing. People who have attended say they find this group a really useful stepping stone in building confidence to get more support and find ways to get involved in opportunities in the community.

The group sessions are very much influenced by what the participants want to do, and while there will be guidance and support, they ask for feedback on what would be most beneficial regularly and are really open to suggestions.

If you would like to talk to them about the group before attending please call on 0117 2398969 and they can answer any questions you may have. Or if you just want to drop in and find out more please do, you are most welcome.
